Being a Good Neigbour

We all want to live in a peaceful place.

  • Be friendly and kind to your neighbours
  • DIY can be done Monday – Friday 8am-6pm. Saturdays 8am-1pm. No noisy work is allowed on Sundays.
  • Be considerate if you’re having a party. Tell your neighbours and keep music at a reasonable level.
  • You need permission from the council to install wood or laminate flooring. They can be noisy for neighbours and may have to be lifted in an emergency.
  • Dispose of your rubbish properly and responsibly – in the bins provided around the estate.
  • Don’t dump large items in communal areas as you will be reported for fly tipping. Call the council to collect them or move them to the lumber point in the car park.
  • Use the chute for small bags. Never put big black bags, timber or cardboard down the chute.
  • Do not leave bikes, buggies, scooters, plants etc. in communal areas. They are a fire hazard and your items may be removed.
  • Look after your garden. Your weeds should not affect your neighbours.
  • Keep control over your pets. Dogs must be on a lead at all times and must not be exercised or toileted within the estate boundary.
